Imagination-The ultimate companion (I am not alone)

Human beings are really unique creatures. During childhood, they wish to grow up fast and as they grow up they wish they could be child again. It is difficult to understand what one really craves for in life. Situations keep on changing and with that change our priority. Sometimes we like to be alone and the other time we want company of somebody.
If we look at the kind of journey one goes through, then, we see, every time there is one or the other responsibility/work waiting for you to be fulfilled. A kid grows up with a thought in mind to study, get a job, get settled, work for family and finally retire. Throughout his life, he is surrounded by people and responsibilities. And, ya, he is never alone. Always filled with some work, frustrations, tensions, anger and little bit of happiness.
Still many of you might not agree that a person cannot remain alone. So, let’s talk about the most wonderful ability that a human has. It has the power to make us feel what we don’t have. And we have realized that even if we don’t have that object/feeling, it doesn’t mean that we can’t feel or enjoy it. I am talking about ‘Imagination’ which seems to be the ultimate companion of a human being.
Let me elaborate on this….. What is dream? You can dream about things irrespective of its existence. Your dreams can scare the daylights out of you and even can make you really happy and at peace. Some live to accomplish the dream while some prefer to live in dreams. None of them are alone. And all of us have also experienced that if you stay away from your loved ones; you can still feel them around you in your imagination/dreams & be content with their happiness.
The beauty of imagination is that it has no limitation just like universe. I wonder what makes a mad person laugh or cry. Why baby cries or laughs? Who guides them? We normally justify it by saying it’s a natural phenomena. But have we ever thought that does this answer really suffice? The answer is generally ‘No’. May be a mad person can see or feel something which we can’t see, feel or know. Let me give another example, we all can see objects in 3D and as we know there are creatures which can see objects only in 2D.Those creatures look at the world in totally different way than us and they can’t accept the object having three dimensions.
There are things which we cannot see but it doesn’t mean that they don’t exist. May be there is something like 4D or 5D or 6D, but we don’t know. May be there is something which is there with us all the time but we are not aware of it. May be some things always pass through our body but we can’t feel it. This reminds me of an animated movie called “Horton hears a who”. In the movie, the microscopic community that lived on speck of dust thought that this is only the whole world. But there was a bigger world outside that speck of dust which they couldn’t visualize and the animals outside saw that as speck of dust without visualizing that even there could exist a living community.
When we talk about imagination, we can’t forget to mention God. Humans have imagined and worshipped God in different forms and beliefs. I believe that even if you don’t have any one by your side, he will always be there as God is the ultimate creator.

So, here is the power of imagination. I don’t feel that we can be alone if we really don’t want to remain alone. One can’t judge a person’s loneliness from mere observation just like if a scientist lives his entire life working with machines in a lab doesn’t mean that he is all alone. Does it really mean that they are alone?  There is lot more than that….!!!!
